No more monkey's jumping off the bed

Cascade and McKinley were jumping off our bed one evening. I asked them to stop since Mac doesn't really jump, she just flops and the bed is as tall as she is. Well as most kids, they did not stop until McKinley started crying. This happened Wednesday night about 8:30pm. I gave her some Tylenol and she fell asleep in my arms and slept all night, so at this point was not too concerned. Thursday she would not put any weight on her leg, but was not crying at all. Long story short, I took her in Friday morning to the ortho doctor I work for (Dr. Gross) and sure enough there was a spiral fracture on her right tibia. She was a great patient through it all. She let them x-ray it with no fight and just sat there while they put the cast on. She did look at Katy with the face of "what did you just do to me" when all was said and done.

Catch Up

Cascade was in her room for quiet time and this was what she was doing. Aunt Cassi bought her diapers for her birthday and she loves to play mom. She'll be a great babysitter in 10 years.

One of McKinleys few words is popcorn. We love carmel corn.

Cascade loves the park. We frequent it often as it's been getting warmer.

A Mans Ride

David, Josh, Ryan, Kirk, Gene, Shane and Devin all went for a ride in Fairfield. Gene took out a tree and drug it a few yards. Kirk took out a fence poll and Josh ended up upside down. All in all it was a good ride.

Sledding Fun

The end of January we went to Eastern Idaho to visit friends and of course do some snowmobiling. The girls loved riding the sleds. McKinley likes to see everything going on. She was always trying to stand up and see everyone else. Cascade didn't say much but had a big smile on her face. We visited the family farm in Victor, ID. Cascade loved seeing the animals. The pigs were her favorite. Uncle Kirk and Cascade made a 6"6' tall snowman. Thanks Uncle Kirk!!!

Christmas Dresses

Since I post every 4th month, you are just now getting pictures of Christmas Dresses. This is a pretty normal scene; McKinley trying to get away from Cascade. They are best friends or worst enemies, there's not much in between.

Who stoll the Cookie from the Cookie Jar?

I'm sure you'll all want to eat my cookies knowing the girls helped. Don't worry I pretty much ate them all myself. I personally don't like cookie dough, but David does and he's passed it on to the girls.

Cascade turns THREE

I can't believe my baby's three. Where does the time go? Cascade got some fun new toys. I think everyone has about 25 or more pieces to it. Got to love it. Thanks to everyone for coming to help celebrate her birthday, we love being so close to family.

Like daddy, like daughter

So there are things our kids do that we find to be so cute, but when you tell someone else they just fake a laugh. Well I have a few of these I want to share so fake a laugh for me....

Cascade got a tool set for her birthday and first thing she did was ask when she can go to work with daddy. Once they were open, so took the tape measure and put it right next to dads so she wouldn't forget it when she goes to work with dad. David puts his keys, wallet and tape measure on the rail so he won't forget them the next day.

McKinley loves to take Davids pencil from behind his ear and put it behind hers. She got it to stay so I had to take a quick picture.

Cascade found this pencil in the back yard and comes running in the house in a panic. She was really concerned because the "birds eat daddy's pencil". I thought that was some creative thinking. David intentionally did this to the pencil so he could measure against the wall for work.

Poor Cascade, she has bad hair like her mom. I didn't have hair to my shoulders until I was about 8. Cascades hair just does not grow. I have to trim it up every now and again to make it look decent. Here's a few pictures. Not to bad for no beauty school.
