UPDATE

I've been asked to update so here you go....
First I can mention there is a "bun in the oven" due April 16th, 2010.
The weather is getting colder and David has fired up his sleds many-a-times.
The girls keep growing, changing and learning. It's an adventure everyday and I love it.
I'm excited for Sierra and Dave and wish them the best with their travels.

Pumpkin Time

We had fun carving pumpkins with our cousnins Benson and Brody. You can tell Benson doesn't ever get his hands dirty cause he was not too fond of the pumpkin guts. Brody didn't want anything to do with any part. McKinley loved it and actually did the best at gutting her pumpkin and attempting to carve it. It really came down to me carving 4 pumpkins. All-in-all it was fun.

House Project 101

This is a BIG house project. I was tired of the UGLY tourquise trim and decided to jump on the wagon with my brother Jason and my parents and paint my house too. I'm loving it. There is some trim to still paint, but it's good for now. Sorry the after pictures are taken into the sun, but that's my quality of blogging anyway. The girls were real helpful. Cascade got board real quick, but McKinley has lots of fun. So much fun so painted on the fence, the pavement and even David's truck.

Chalk Fun

Cascade is developing her fine motor skill very quickly. She's got about 10 letters and number 1-6 down. Here is her newest creations, sponge bob families. I don't think she has ever seen sponge bob but she knows how to draw them so maybe she has. My favorite part is the new baby.

Bonk Beds

We are so excited around our house. We got new "Bonk Beds" as Cascade keeps calling them. I have to remind her they are Bunk Beds and we don't want to bonk our heads on them. It was time to take the plunge and put the girls in the same room. McKinley has been sleeping in her crib still, so I wasn't sure I wanted to take the step, but it has been successful so far. We are going on week 2 and Cascade still loves it and stays in bed and falls asleep by herself. Now I may have to actually make it into a girly room. Tinkerbell has been the request for comforters so we'll see. McKinley is a roller but has only fallen off once so we are doing good. She has been great at staying in the bed for bed time and naps.

Bowling

We have found a new pass time. BOWLING, not for David and myself, but the girls. The girls each bowled a game and rented shoes and it was only $3.18. Can't think of a better way to kill 90 minutes for so cheep. My camera died so I didn't get many pictures but here are a few.
