Cascade turns THREE

I can't believe my baby's three. Where does the time go? Cascade got some fun new toys. I think everyone has about 25 or more pieces to it. Got to love it. Thanks to everyone for coming to help celebrate her birthday, we love being so close to family.

Like daddy, like daughter

So there are things our kids do that we find to be so cute, but when you tell someone else they just fake a laugh. Well I have a few of these I want to share so fake a laugh for me....

Cascade got a tool set for her birthday and first thing she did was ask when she can go to work with daddy. Once they were open, so took the tape measure and put it right next to dads so she wouldn't forget it when she goes to work with dad. David puts his keys, wallet and tape measure on the rail so he won't forget them the next day.

McKinley loves to take Davids pencil from behind his ear and put it behind hers. She got it to stay so I had to take a quick picture.

Cascade found this pencil in the back yard and comes running in the house in a panic. She was really concerned because the "birds eat daddy's pencil". I thought that was some creative thinking. David intentionally did this to the pencil so he could measure against the wall for work.

Poor Cascade, she has bad hair like her mom. I didn't have hair to my shoulders until I was about 8. Cascades hair just does not grow. I have to trim it up every now and again to make it look decent. Here's a few pictures. Not to bad for no beauty school.

Halloween

Ignore the fact that it's Thanksgiving and I'm just posting Halloween.

10 NEW BLOGS

So I guess it's about time to post again. I have to do this more often, cause I feel like I just wasted a few hours that could have been more productive. Ah, whatever. I posted about 10 new blogs with 5 pictures each so click on the older posts too.

P.S. I just like this picture of Keaton so I have to add it.
Much love to you all. Take care for now (cause it will be awhile).

Fishing with Dad

This is why I love my husband so much. My girls are 100% daddy's girls. They want nothing to do with me once he gets home from work (but I'm okay with that)

Yes, it's hard to see that little fish there by Davids arm. Hey better to catch a little fish everytime then only one big one the whole night.

McKinley likes the fishies. She likes to poke their eyes.

David got a new fishing pole after our hiking trip, so Cascade thought she needed on too. She askes every day if we can go fishing. Of course she will have nothing to do with the fish, but thinks the experience and time with dad is great. She actually casted and caught one herself.

There is an upper mystery lake and a lower lake. The upper lake has bigger fish so we camped at the upper lake this year. The hike to the upper lake was H#LL.

A view of Lower Myster Lake

In September 2005, Jason, David and I went backpacking to Mystery Lake. It was beautiful and great fishing so Jason planned for us to go again this year. This time we had a whole gang...Cliff, Josh, Jason, Jen, Cassi, Jake, Crystal, David and Kirk. The hike is real intense and we told ourselves after the first trip, that this is not a one night only hike. We heading up first think Friday morning and came back Sunday afternoon. We had a great time and the boys caught lots of fish. I hardly came out of my tent, enjoying the fact I did not have to do anything. It was great.

The Green Marker

The pictues say it all.

Cassi

Cassi is just so cute so I had to post a picture.

When we're helping, we're happy...

I think the song should really go....when we're helping moms happy. I had to take some pictures for evidence so I can remind the girls (and dad) that it is fun the help do the dishes.

Off Road

So David's brother Shane had this video game in his house, but he rented it out so he needed a place to store it. David's been having a little fun with it, along with anyone else that comes over. It almost compares to the Wii and Rock Band don't you think.

Cascade loved, loved, loved camping. Her and McKinley loving getting dirty, riding four wheelers and sleeping in a tent. Okay the sleeping thing did not go so well, but that's okay.

Since it's been awhile, here are some picture of what's been happening around the Hessing home. The girls love playing outside. McKinley discovered the hose and wants to play in it anytime she can. Davids family had a reunion the first of August so here are some pictures from that.
