Cast Comes Off

When we walked into the office to get Mac's cast off as fussed when we saw Katy(the physian assistant who put her cast on). She must have remember her. She would not let her touch her, but as soon as they turned on the saw she stopped and was a perfect little patient again. She has now had if off for a week and is finaly walking normal again.

McKinley learned quick to walk and run with her cast. She also learned it was a good hiding place. The bottom of her cast was just about gone from all her running on it. Good thing she only had to have it on for 3 weeks

A Day at the Doctor

I'm sure David will be real excited I am posting this, oh well. David's had this thing growing on the back of his thigh for a while. Since he was there with me while Mac got her cast on we decided to have it removed.

No more monkey's jumping off the bed

Cascade and McKinley were jumping off our bed one evening. I asked them to stop since Mac doesn't really jump, she just flops and the bed is as tall as she is. Well as most kids, they did not stop until McKinley started crying. This happened Wednesday night about 8:30pm. I gave her some Tylenol and she fell asleep in my arms and slept all night, so at this point was not too concerned. Thursday she would not put any weight on her leg, but was not crying at all. Long story short, I took her in Friday morning to the ortho doctor I work for (Dr. Gross) and sure enough there was a spiral fracture on her right tibia. She was a great patient through it all. She let them x-ray it with no fight and just sat there while they put the cast on. She did look at Katy with the face of "what did you just do to me" when all was said and done.

Catch Up

Cascade was in her room for quiet time and this was what she was doing. Aunt Cassi bought her diapers for her birthday and she loves to play mom. She'll be a great babysitter in 10 years.

One of McKinleys few words is popcorn. We love carmel corn.

Cascade loves the park. We frequent it often as it's been getting warmer.
