Alright, alright I'll add some posts

So I figured I would not be too good at this blogging thing. Once a month mass posting will probably be my way. See, when I get a chance to sit at the computer,  I usually need to work. I realize every ones version of busy is different. We are all given the same 24 hours in a day, we just choose to use it differently.  I would rather do the dishes, vacuum or sweep than post on my blog, and I definitely would rather take a NAP.  Anyway, enjoy these few posts and don't bother looking again for a few weeks.

McKinley turns ONE

Well the first few pictures tell you how McKinley was feeling for her first birthday. She has been miserable for the last week. She was finally herself again today. It's nice to have her back. Despite her feeling terrible, her birthday went well. She got lots of cute clothes, some fun bath toys, an alligator xylophone and her favorite was a swing from Grandma and Grandpa. Thanks everyone for coming over the help us celebrate and for the fun presents.

Sister by chance, Friends by choice

As all siblings, Cascade and McKinley have a love/hate relationship. Most of the time McK is running from Cascade cause she is a bully, but I love these moments of friendship. Cascade can get McKinley to laugh the hardest. Both my girls are blanky babies. These are their special blankets.

Crafty Cascade

Cascade likes to do big girl things. Here she is stampin' up. That is if you call ripping the ink pad off the base stamping, but she was having fun and not beating up McKinley so some time whatever it take for a few minutes of peace.

Mother's Day

So I realize Mother's Day was 4 weeks ago, but since it's been 6 or more weeks since I blogged, here is a picture from Mother's Day. David and Cascade made me breakfast in bed and got me a food chopper. I told David the week prior that I expected breakfast in bed and a gift. He pulled through. Thanks Handsome.

Green River

David, his dad Keith and his brother Kirk went to the Green River in Utah at the beginning of May. Here are a few pictures, Kirk, Keith and David is the third pictures. They had great success. One day they landed over 20 in the boat.

The real exciting part of their trip happened an hour and a half into the drive. They left Boise around 3:00 and around 4:30 David called laughing. Long story short, his dad's truck broke down 100 miles from Boise. David asked me to drive his truck out to him so they could continue on their merry little way. So me being the kind wife that I am, hopped in his truck and headed to the rescue. His mom, Della, followed in her car to bring me back. It was a real exciting 4 hour adventure. With gas prices being so great, it wasn't a big deal to blow an extra 400 miles of fuel, oh wait, it broke the bank $$$$$

One of a kind Sled

Any of you that know my husband, his passion is snowmobiling. His business partners made this for Cascade when she was born. This is McKinley taking a ride. It's her favorite toy at the moment. I was trying the find a picture of Cascade also, but they are saved on a disk, locked in the gun safe, hidden behind boxes of diapers, in the closet where McKinley is sleeping. Needless the say, not going to happen. Thanks Barry and Bryan.

Working Girls

I am lucky enough to have a great stay at home job. The pictures say it all, the girls love to help mom open the mail. On a good day they will nap at the same time so I can get some work done during the day, but most of it is after everyone has gone to bed. I am very grateful for my job.
